Business Development & Lead Generation

• Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and target potential B2B clients—such as manufacturers, exporters, importers, e-commerce brands, and trading companies—that require international shipping and logistics solutions.
• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, conducting cold outreach, scheduling meetings, and following up on inbound inquiries.
• Tender & RFP Responses: Participate in preparing, structuring, and submitting competitive bids, proposals, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for large-scale freight contracts.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis

• Industry Insights: Monitor global trade trends, shipping lane demands, and industry fluctuations (e.g., air freight vs. ocean freight rates, port congestions, or fuel surcharges) to identify new sales opportunities.
• Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze competitor pricing, service offerings, and marketing tactics to position the cargo company's services effectively in the market.

Sales Strategy & Cross-Selling

• Customized Solutions: Consult with clients to understand their supply chain needs and pitch tailored logistics solutions—whether it is Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), air cargo, warehousing, or customs brokerage.
• Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services (e.g., cargo insurance, expedited shipping, or door-to-door delivery) to existing accounts to maximize customer lifetime value.

Marketing Campaigns & Brand Promotion

• Digital & Field Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, digital outreach, and email marketing targeting supply chain and procurement professionals.
• Networking & Events: Represent the company at international trade shows, logistics conferences, and networking events to build brand visibility and forge strategic partnerships with agents or carriers.

Account Management & Customer Retention

• Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing shipping inquiries or service bottlenecks quickly.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with operations, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo execution, timely dispatch, and transparent client communication.
