Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security operations, support secure technology environments, and build hands-on expertise across modern cybersecurity tools and practices. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world security environments, working with modern security technologies, platforms, and client projects. You will be part of the teams responsible for maintaining a strong security posture across projects and environments, while developing a practical understanding of how cybersecurity works in a fast-moving technology organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist in managing and maintaining the day-to-day health of IT security posture across upcoming and new projects.
• To configure, manage, and support security tools and platforms, including IAM, PAM, AV, DLP, AWS Security, key management, and hands-on platforms such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Trend Micro, SecureKi, Cisco Duo, and SentinelOne.
• To assist in the coordination and follow-up of reported or detected security vulnerabilities, incidents, and events.
• To maintain and revise IT security and compliance documentation, policies, and updates.
• To assist in engaged IT security and compliance maintenance activities, including audits and assessments.
• To support vulnerability management and remediation tracking across client and internal environments.

• To assist in any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess a minimum of Four (4) years of working experience in a related IT security field.
• Hands-on knowledge and working experience with security tools such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Trend Micro, SecureKi, Cisco Duo, SentinelOne, IAM, PAM, AV, and DLP.
• Knowledge and experience in AWS IT cloud and security technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in IT security incident handling and investigation.
• Knowledge or experience in PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or other recognized IT security standards is an added advantage.
• Possess initiative, good interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with all levels of people.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Security, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate(SC-300) or vendor-specific certifications) are an added advantage.
