About this course
Nobody is dismissed for being slightly late, replying curtly or forwarding a message they should not have. What happens instead is quieter: they are not put in front of the client, not asked to lead the project, not thought of when the opportunity appears. Workplace etiquette is not manners for their own sake. It is the set of everyday behaviours from which colleagues infer whether you are reliable, whether you can be trusted with responsibility, and whether working with you is easy. Those inferences accumulate into a reputation long before anyone formally assesses you. This course covers the practical ground: communication across every channel, meetings, hierarchy, disagreement, credit, politics, confidentiality, boundaries and repair. The specifics vary by culture and organisation, so the emphasis throughout is on reading the environment rather than applying rules blindly.
