About this course
A CV has one job: to get you an interview. It is not a biography, not a complete record of your life, and not a document about you — it is a **sales document aimed at a specific reader with a specific problem**, who will look at it for a surprisingly short time before deciding. Most CVs fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the candidate's ability. They list duties instead of achievements, bury the relevant information, use language that says nothing, run to four pages, and look identical to every other application for the same role. All of those are fixable in an afternoon, and the improvement in response rate is usually immediate. This course covers every section of a CV, the formats, tailoring, keyword screening, the Bangladeshi and international conventions, and how to maintain the document so it is never out of date when an opportunity appears.
