About this course
"Personal branding" is an unfortunate phrase. It suggests self-promotion, curated photographs and people announcing their achievements to an audience that did not ask. Most competent professionals recoil from it, and reasonably. The underlying thing is simpler and older: **being known, by the right people, for something specific and true**. That is not marketing. It is the difference between being good at your work and being thought of when an opportunity appears — and those two are much less connected than they ought to be. This course covers the practical version. Deciding what you want to be known for, finding out how you are currently seen, building visibility through the work itself, writing and speaking in ways that compound, and doing all of it without becoming the person nobody wants to follow.
