• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for projects and corporate functions.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash, bank, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor project-wise sales, booking, installment collections, advances, and outstanding payments.
• Prepare customer-wise collection statements, aging reports, and receivable analysis.
• Review and verify vouchers, bills, invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.
• Prepare project-wise income, expenditure, cash flow, and profitability reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, and inter-company reconciliation.
• Monitor project expenses against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Ensure timely recording and reconciliation of land, construction, development, and project-related expenses.
• Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Procurement, Project, and Management teams on financial matters.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS for management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external/internal auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documents.
• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and ERP/accounting system data.
• Maintain proper financial records, documentation, and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide junior accounts team members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective measures to maintain financial accuracy.
• Perform any other financial and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.
