Minimum MBA/MA/MSS In any discipline
Sound knowledge of export documentation, L/C, EXP, TT, export proceeds, banking procedures and cash incentive.
Practical knowledge of Bangladesh Bank, Customs, VAT and export-related rules & regulations.
Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Strong communication, coordination, follow-up and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with banks, C&F agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines and internal departments.
Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit "Officer/Senior Officer - Commercial" for Head Office Unit, located in Mohakhali, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day export commercial activities, including export documentation and shipment-related matters.
Prepare, check, and maintain Commercial Invoice, Packing List, EXP Form, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin and other export-related documents.
Coordinate with banks, C&F agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs and other relevant parties for smooth export operations.
Handle Export L/C, TT, banking documentation, document submission and export proceeds realization.
Follow up with banks regarding export bills, payment realization, discrepancies and other banking-related matters.
Maintain proper records of export shipments, banking transactions, L/C, export proceeds and commercial documents.
Prepare and maintain documents related to Cash Incentive/Export Incentive claims and coordinate with banks and concerned authorities.
Follow up on cash incentive applications, supporting documents, claim status and realization.
Ensure proper collection, verification and submission of documents required for cash incentive claims.
Handle petty cash, cash requisitions, payments, vouchers and cash-related records as assigned.
Maintain proper cash book, supporting documents and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank, Customs, VAT and other applicable rules and regulations.
Coordinate with Accounts, Merchandising, Production, Warehouse, Logistics and other departments for smooth commercial operations.
Prepare export, banking, cash and incentive-related reports as required by management.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of all commercial, banking, cash and incentive records.
Perform any other commercial and banking-related duties assigned by management.
