The Head of Risk Management provides strategic leadership and independent oversight of second- and third-line assurance functions across SAJIDA Foundation`s Microfinance, Development Programme and Social Enterprises. Leading the Internal Audit, Compliance & QA, Inspection, and Risk and Sustainable Governance units, the incumbent is responsible for building and directing a large, geographically dispersed team that safeguards the integrity of the Programme`s branch network, protects portfolio quality, ensures regulatory compliance (including with the Microcredit Regulatory Authority, MRA), and strengthens enterprise risk management and sustainable governance practices across the organization. The role works closely with the Board Audit & Risk Committee to provide independent, evidence-based assurance on financial, operational, compliance and reputational risks.
