Head of Marketing - O/A Level Education (Banani)

Compass Education Group operates across three verticals: Compass International School, a Cambridge International curriculum school; our Pathway Programme; and our official IDP exam center for IELTS testing. We are looking for a Head of Marketing to own the group's brand, communications, and lead generation end-to-end — building the perception of Compass in the market and driving the enrollment numbers that keep the group growing.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Positioning

* Own the group's brand identity, voice, and positioning across all three verticals

* Ensure consistent brand standards across every touchpoint — social media, website, print, campus signage, and campaigns

* Develop messaging frameworks that differentiate Compass in a competitive Dhaka education market

Marketing Strategy & Planning

* Build and execute the annual marketing strategy and calendar, aligned to enrollment targets for each vertical

* Set and own the marketing budget, allocating spend across channels based on ROI

* Define and track KPIs — cost per lead, cost per enrollment, conversion rates, brand awareness metrics

Digital Marketing & Paid Media

* Own paid media strategy and execution across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other digital channels

* Oversee the website, SEO, and any landing pages or campaign microsites

* Continuously test and optimize campaigns based on performance data

Social Media & Content

* Lead and manage the social media and content team, setting content strategy and approving output

* Ensure a consistent content calendar and posting rhythm across all group pages

* Oversee influencer, community, and partnership content where relevant

Communications & PR

* Manage internal and external communications, including parent-facing announcements and community relations

* Handle media relations and PR opportunities — press coverage, partnerships, and public events

* Represent the marketing function at open houses, education fairs, and public-facing events

Lead Generation & Revenue Ownership

* Own the top-of-funnel lead generation numbers and work closely with the Admissions team to ensure leads convert into enrollments

* Meet monthly, termly, and annual enrollment and revenue targets set by management

* Build and refine the marketing-to-admissions handoff process so no lead is lost between the two functions

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

* Track competitor positioning, pricing, and campaigns across the Dhaka English-medium and Cambridge school market

* Use market research and parent/student feedback to continuously refine messaging and offering

Team & Vendor Management

* Build, lead, and mentor the marketing team — including content creators, ad executives, and any agency or freelance partners

* Manage relationships with external vendors — design, printing, media buying platforms, PR agencies

Reporting & Analytics

* Report regularly to senior management on marketing performance, spend efficiency, and enrollment impact

* Maintain dashboards and reporting aligned with international marketing measurement standards (funnel metrics, CAC, LTV, attribution)

Candidate Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred

* Minimum 7-10 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role owning strategy, budget, and a team

* Proven track record in digital marketing and paid media (Meta Ads, Google Ads) with measurable results

* Experience building and leading a marketing team, including managing external agencies or vendors

* Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and communications

* Data-driven mindset — comfortable owning KPIs, budgets, and ROI reporting

* Excellent written and spoken English; strong presentation and stakeholder management skills

* Experience working cross-functionally with sales/admissions-style teams to close the loop from lead to conversion

Preferred

* Experience in the education sector, particularly with schools, coaching centers, or study-abroad/IELTS services

* Familiarity with the Cambridge International or O/A Level education market in Bangladesh

* Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

* Prior agency background
