Strategic Leadership

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Operation & Maintenance functions of the power plant.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, availability, and operational excellence.

Plant Operations Management

• Ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation of the 2 × 660 MW Supercritical Coal-Fired Power Plant.
• Monitor plant generation performance, efficiency, heat rate, and operating parameters.
• Oversee implementation of operational procedures, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead emergency response and crisis management activities when required.

Maintenance Management

• Ensure effective planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Optimize maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Monitor major overhauls, shutdowns, and maintenance projects.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Establish and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Minimize operational risks and maintain world-class HSE performance standards.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage operational and maintenance budgets effectively.
• Control operational costs while maintaining high plant performance and reliability.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering and operational teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Support succession planning and workforce development initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain effective communication with the plant owner, regulatory authorities, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present operational reports to management and stakeholders.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
