Assistant Manager - Cargo Delivery

Implement HSSE policies and safety initiatives and ensure safe FCL cargo delivery operations.

Support the overall FCL delivery operation from PCY and SCY, including delivery of containers to Covered Vans.

Ensure FCL containers are placed and made available for delivery within accepted deadlines and committed booking windows.

Coordinate with Documentation and One-Stop to ensure accurate manifest information, delivery bookings and cargo readiness.

Collaborate with Planning to develop the operational delivery plan for upcoming vessels and FCL cargo volumes.

Manage and monitor the capacity and efficiency of the Covered Van delivery area and assigned FCL storage/placement areas.

Ensure maximum utilization of yard and land space assigned for FCL cargo delivery while maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Coordinate manpower, equipment and other resources required for FCL delivery activities.

Monitor container placement, shifting and delivery activities to minimize unnecessary re-handling and operational delays.

Ensure accurate system update for container placement, delivery status and relevant operational activities.

Monitor delivery bookings and follow up pending containers to ensure cargo is available as committed.

Prevent cargo theft, pilferage and damage through proper supervision and adherence to operational procedures.

Ensure compliance with customs, port and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with C&F agents, Customs, vendors, transporters, terminal stakeholders and other relevant parties to resolve delivery-related queries.

Maintain accurate FCL delivery statistics and provide timely operational and productivity reports to the Cargo Delivery Manager.
