Assistant Manager - Brand & Communications

The Assistant Manager - Brand & Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and communicating SHV and Petromax’s brand identity and value proposition in the market. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, enhancing customer loyalty, and managing the company’s public image through strategic communication efforts. This position involves overseeing all aspects of branding, content development, media relations, and both digital & face-to-face presence, ensuring that every message aligns with our brand values and resonates with our audience.

Internal Communication & Brand Culture

• Support internal communication initiatives by working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a strong brand culture and ensure consistent communication of the Petromax LPG brand values across the organization.

Promotional Materials Development & Sales Support

• Develop and manage promotional materials in line with SHV Energy Group and Petromax LPG brand guidelines. Provide marketing support to the Sales team to effectively promote the Petromax brand through various marketing and activation initiatives.

Campaign Management

• Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and business performance.

Content Development & Media Relations

• Coordinate the development of marketing content, manage relationships with media partners and agencies, and support corporate communication activities to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

• Manage and enhance the company's digital presence, including social media platforms, website content, and online campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging and customer engagement.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. Coordinate and oversee agencies, vendors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality marketing and branding initiatives within approved budgets and timelines.

Event Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Plan and execute distributor conferences, retailer meetings, safety awareness programs, customer engagement events, trade shows, and stakeholder engagement activities across the country in alignment with business objectives.
• Follow all Health & Safety rules, join toolbox talks and drills, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Execute other responsibilities delegated by management that are relevant to the employee’s role, aligned with business priorities, and consistent with compliance and accountability standards.
