Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager (HR)

The AGM/DGM HR will support the Head of Human Resources in leading the HR Operations function and ensuring the effective delivery of people processes across the organisation. The role will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with organisational policies and labour laws, and partner with business units to provide timely and effective HR support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.

• Manage recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain competent talent.

• Oversee employee lifecycle processes including confirmation, transfer, promotion, separation and exit formalities.

• Ensure effective implementation of performance management, employee engagement and talent development initiatives.

• Administer compensation and benefits, including payroll coordination, insurance and employee welfare programs.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, organizational policies and statutory requirements.

• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and standard operating practices.

• Maintain HR records, reports and employee databases with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Support workforce planning, organizational restructuring and other change management initiatives.

• Supervise and develop the HR team while fostering collaboration across departments.

• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and management information as required by senior leadership.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Human Resources.
