Would i be dumb for quitting my cushy job to go back to a 9-5?

I work in IT, three 12-hour shifts a week. It'll be four years next month. I make about $54k. I'm just so bored. I don't plan on making a career out of it because I work on what I really want to do outside of work. But in the meantime, I'm looking at other IT jobs that'll pay more, but it'll be harder to work on my passions because they're all five days a week.
