Was my education even worth it??
I have both a Bachelors and Master’s degree (finished masters back in May) and since then, in the span of two months: - I’ve applied to almost 80 jobs - been rejected from 25 of them (32% of all applications) - Been considered an “eligible candidate” for a state job but haven’t heard anything since June - had an AI Interview and got rejected from it - one group interview I cancelled since I learned the company was a Devilcorp and I refuse to follow through with their bs tactics (don’t know what I mean? It’s like an MLM or a Pyramid Scheme but arguably just as bad if not worse) - I have a zoom screening with a surprisingly good job next week and I’m afraid to ask how that’ll turn out. - next week is when my current job ends and I’ll be considered unemployed after that. I don’t know what to do, I feel lost in all of this due to how the job market currently is. Edit: Since a lot of people have asked, my bachelors is in English and my masters is in Communication
