[Update] Job Secured! 9 months since last role and 2 weeks since my post. My tips inside

Hi all, Here is the original post: External Link It's surreal because my entire 6 month rainy day fund is gone and I now know I need to build a year in at least. For those that don't have a rainy day fund, please build one, it literally kept the lights on, our family happy, and my spirits up. I had tried to break in at this same company multiple times, with referrals but the competition was fierce. Now at a lower paying role and one that is not FTE i was super competitive and it made sense to pick me over the other candidates. The role is exactly in my career and utilizes my experiences so that will help me in the future showing continuity and career growth. Some lessons I learned: I probably did over 3-4,000 applications of applicable jobs over the last 9 months. A third didn't use Ai to tailor the role so I think i would have had more success if i had done that from the start. Thank you all for your ideas last time and support. The economy is not normal. The labor force participation rate is at a 50 year low, people cannot find jobs: External Link People are trying to enter the market but can't. It's not you, i promise you, i have never needed 9 months to land a new role, and that's why my rainy day fund was never this large, but this economy is something different and new.
