Should you email a job to check on the hiring process?
I had a virtual interview last Monday 7/13 and I was told at the end for next steps I’d most likely receive a phone call from a HR person to possibly schedule another interview person interview or set up the hiring appointment. The manager I interviewed with was on vacation for the rest of that week and he told me his boss was also on vacation that week. At the end of the interview he said based on my credentials/experience I could do very well in the position. Haven’t heard anything since the interview and I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to email the HR person who scheduled my last interview to check in.
