Should I call Target Human Resources after being rejected twice?

I’m 19 and currently working at Sonic. I’ve been trying to get a job at Target because I’m honestly drained from working in fast food. I first applied for a general merchandise position. The next day, I received a rejection email saying that I seemed like a good candidate, but they did not have a role that matched my preferences. I wanted to reapply for the same position, but the website would not let me. I called the store and spoke to someone, but I did not really know what to say. She told me that I could reapply every two weeks or wait until Monday for Human Resources to speak with the hiring team. After that, I applied for a guest advocate position. I completed the virtual interview and felt very confident about my answers. However, the next day, I received another rejection email saying that they did not have a role available that matched my preferences, but that they would keep my application on file. For my availability, I selected 3:00 p.m. to midnight from Wednesday through Sunday. I could also work until 2:00 a.m. because I already work late shifts at my current job. I am still in school, so I cannot work mornings on school days, but I am available after school, during evenings, and on weekends. My mom knows the Human Resources representative at this Target and emailed her to recommend me before I received the second rejection. I am considering calling the store early in the morning to explain my situation and ask whether I could still be considered.
