Ruined my chances by never getting an internship

Does anyone else feel like they wasted their college years by not getting an internship? I never had a license and I lived in a small college town so I never got a chance to get one. Now I can’t find anything entry level, because every position needs experience. I can’t even move past my part time retail job because I only have a year there and no where is hiring full time and again, not enough experience for management.
