Remote jobs

Is it just me or do all remote jobs kind of seem like a scam? Is there any way you have found it comfortable to apply to remote jobs? Is there anything i should be worried about with remote jobs? I have no experience with remote work but want to be open to it if the right opportunity arises. And help would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.
