R2R Accounting Analyst role at Transunion
The recruitment process was extremely disappointing. After my first interview, I was informed that my profile was "on hold" and was asked to wait for a few days. I respected the process and waited patiently. A few days later, I received a call informing me that a second interview had been scheduled. I invested additional time preparing for that interview, only to have it cancelled shortly before and be informed that my application would not be moving forward. I completely understand that companies have every right to choose the candidate they believe is the best fit. Rejection is a normal part of recruitment and is something every job seeker accepts. What I found disappointing was the way the process was managed. Scheduling another interview and then cancelling it without giving the candidate an opportunity to attend reflects poorly on the overall candidate experience. Candidates invest significant time, effort, and emotional energy into preparing for interviews, and a more structured and transparent process would demonstrate greater respect for that commitment. My suggestion to the recruitment team would be to finalize internal decisions before scheduling additional interview rounds and to communicate updates promptly. Regardless of the hiring outcome, candidates deserve clarity and consistency throughout the recruitment process.
