Managers complaining about AI slop resumes when Hiring process arms race caused this.
Just what the post says. The cause of this issue isn't the candidates. You have to use ai to score your resume and format it just to be parsed by machines and avoid auto-rejection before a human can even see their resume. It isn't worth the time to custom tailor cover letters and stand out since folks have to send out 100s if not 1000s of applications just to get a handful of callbacks.
