Looking for help on finding a career path, any advice would help!

25M graduating with a Finance degree this fall. Feeling behind in my career and looking for advice. I’m 25 years old and will be graduating this fall with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m falling behind compared to a lot of my friends, and I’m hoping to get some honest advice from people who’ve been in a similar position. For context, I’m a first-generation American. My parents immigrated to the U.S. and sacrificed everything to give me and my siblings opportunities they never had. I’ll always be grateful for that, and this isn’t meant as a complaint toward them at all. That said, I’ve realized over the last few years that many of my friends landed great internships or careers through family connections or because they had parents who already understood the corporate world. In my family, most people work in skilled trades or labor-intensive jobs like plumbing and landscaping. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with those careers—I respect them a lot—but there just wasn’t anyone around me who could guide me through internships, networking, or building a corporate career. I also have to take responsibility for my own decisions. During my first couple years of college, I wasn’t focused. I spent too much time partying, clubbing, and hanging around the wrong crowd instead of thinking long-term. Looking back, I regret not taking internships and career development more seriously.
