job fired me 2 weeks ago and still hasnt given me my clothing back
this was a sleep away camp. on laundry day you give them your clothes and they give it back 2 days later washed. i was fired on the day after the laundry was taken so it wouldve come back the following day. i was told my laundry would be mailed to my house. 2 days ago i emailed them to ask if the laundry has been shipped (i had been waiting 2 weeks already) got no response. im about to move so i wont live in this house for much longer. the reason they fired me was for something that wasnt my fault btw and when i explain it people have said i could sue them for wrongfully terminating me. i dont think that will work, however i dont know what to do if they are withholding my property. (for context the camp is in the same state where i live and is approximately a 3 hour trip to get there)
