Is anyone else dealing with age discrimination in remote job hunting or is it just me

Ok I need to rant for a sec. 20+ years in commercial banking. Branch manager, market president, VP of business services. Built loan portfolios from literally nothing, ran teams, the whole thing. I know what I'm doing, I'm good at it, I have the track record to prove it. Doesn't matter. Applied to a bunch of remote roles the last few months where I'm honestly overqualified on paper and either nothing back or the "overqualified" line which we all know is code. Had a recruiter straight up ask me on a call how I'd feel about "keeping up with younger, more tech savvy colleagues." Like I just wandered in off a horse and buggy. I run digital banking evaluations for a living right now, I promise I know how to use an app. It's not even that I need the validation, I just don't get how "this guy has done the job successfully for two decades" translates to "risky hire" in someone's head. Make it make sense. Anyway if anyone's actually been through this and figured out a way around it, genuinely want to know. Did you cut years off the resume, change how you talk about experience in interviews, target certain companies, anything. And separately, if you know of remote job boards or companies that don't seem to auto-filter on age (or GRADUATION YEAR HELP) I'd love to hear it. Banking, lending, consulting, financial advisory, but honestly at this point I'll take any lead. Typing this out has been half rant half research so thanks for reading this far lol
