Interview TL?

I had two interviews with the main interviewers/decision-makers and was moved forward to a final panel pretty quickly. The panelists explicitly said they were there mostly as a “vibe check” and were less familiar with the technical/day-to-day aspects of the role. The interview was very conversational, almost no traditional interview questions. We mostly discussed my background, why I was interested, culture, AI, internal mobility, office logistics, etc. They also gave me their emails and said to reach out with any questions. When I asked about timing, they said they still had interviews to complete over the next week or two, then they’d provide feedback to the main interviewers, who would work with HR. They estimated I’d hear something within 1–2 weeks. I’m now about a week out, my portal still says “In Process,” and I followed up with the recruiter yesterday but haven’t heard back. Do you think this is a positive sign? How much weight would a “vibe check” panel typically have if the main interviewers are the ones making the decision? And is it normal for the process to take 1–2+ weeks even if you’re a strong candidate
