How to get a better job in college

Hi, I’m a studying Computer Engineer in a pretty isolated area. I’ve been going to college for about 4 years now and I’m gonna wrap up my BA in another yearish or so (A change in my major set me back). Currently, I work at an internship as a software/hardware engineer with an Aerospace Defense Contractor, but that will end as I have to go back to school. Before this, I worked in fast food, but I really cannot stand the idea of going back to them. The environment, the respect I get treated with, and physical to mental workload change between a fast food job and a big company like this is insane as well as the pay. I’ve been trying for years to get my foot in the door with anything technology based but I’ve been stuck in fast food since I was like 16. What options do I have now that I’ve gotten this internship experience? I do school full-time so ideally part time would work best for me, but I might be able to squeeze in full time as well as I have before. I’d like to work with technology/software with a company that pays slightly better than a $11 an hour fast food job, but I genuinely have no idea what kind of jobs are even an option for someone like me. TLDR; I’m pursuing a BA in Computer engineering, almost finished with a good internship experience, and do not want to go back to fast food. What kinds of jobs are available for a person with my background?
