Hiring managers say they’re “waiting for feedback from HR” after my final interview.
I had my final interview for an Analyst position last Tuesday. It was a panel interview with two hiring managers and, in my opinion, it went very well. We had good rapport, they complimented one of my forecasting answers, and at the end they told me I should hear back by Friday. Friday came and went with no update. I followed up with the recruiter, who told me they were waiting to meet with the HR Business Partner, who had been out of the office, and that she hoped to have an update by Tuesday. Tuesday (yesterday) also passed with no update. I then emailed one of the hiring managers, and she replied the next morning saying: “We’re currently waiting for feedback from HR but will be sure to be in touch as soon as we can.” Today also ended without any update. At this point I’m trying to understand what “waiting for feedback from HR” usually means in practice. PLEASE HELP
