got laid off for being new to the industry and not having experience

i wish i was exaggerating. Me and the other new hire got laid off today bc we’re new and aren’t able to hit the sales numbers we need to hit right now because we didn’t get enough sales training and weren’t given enough time to improve. We’re being replaced by people with sales experience. i don’t know if im more angry or just distraught. So much for entry level job. side note: we were informed of the numbers we needed to hit about two weeks ago. We hit those numbers to the best of our ability, but apparently we actually needed to double/triple them.
