Genuine Question

To my people who say they have been unemployed for x amount of time: Do y'all literally mean unemployed or underemployed? Since I've been laid off, I was only unemployed for about three months, mainly due to relocating back home. Since I've made it home, I have been severely underemployed with three different companies within a year. But I've never been unemployed since seeking work. To those unemployed, how are y'all surviving? Is taking the cut to do warehouse or hospitality not an option? Not judging, just curious.
