Follow up email one or two weeks after interview?
I had an initial over the phone interview with an internal recruiter who seemed to like what I had to say. He then scheduled me for an in person interview with the director of the department I was applying to and the VP. The interview was last Thursday and I sent a thank you email the next day to the recruiter. They gave no clues about timeline of decision making and I neglected to ask. I am currently employed, but this job would represent a massive increase in pay and have a large impact on the financial future of my family and I. Due to that I’m anxious to hear the outcome. Should I send a follow up email tomorrow (one week after in person interview) or wait until the following Thursday (two weeks)?
