Are job boards even a reliable option anymore?

I made the mistake of getting an IT degree and can't even find entry level help desk jobs that don't require 1-2 years of experience. I even went on my school's handshake site and was met with random labor jobs when I searched help desk. I know how competitive it is, etc but I can't even find listings for entry level IT. What are people supposed to do? What job boards do y'all use? Indeed, LinkedIn, ziprecruiter even hiring.cafe are the same bs listings with thousands of applicants? Do I just keep working in a restaurant forever where I've currently been for 4 and a half years? Somethings got to give.
