Application rejected one minute after opening it

I applied to a job through seek, where I met all the requirements and essentials and answered the questions correctly. The employer opened my application and literally a minute later rejected it. I highly doubt they actually bothered to read anything. The only thing I can think of is that in the job description it listed an email to send your resume to; is it a dealbreaker for someone to send their application through seek rather than directly email it?
