Anyone else had this dilemma switching to a new job?

So I just got accepted with another company that I applied for their start date is August 17,2026. They will send me on boarding procedure probably tomorrow. So that will be 18 business days. I really enjoy my time with my current office and has a good relationship with everyone. My dilemma is do I inform them about my offer and so they can get a replacement or wait till on boarding and background check is done. If I do the background check then the timeframe will be less than 2 weeks for the notice.
