Anyone else dumbing down their experience?

Right now, there's so few available manager level roles and then the lower level jobs, the few that will actually give me a call or interview, give me an attitude. The recruiter or hiring manager will say something like "well why would you even want this role?" They make me grovel and sell myself for a role that's already 20k less than I'm making. It's beyond embarrassing. I just created a new fake resume that replaces my manager level experience with "office coordinator" and "administrative support" roles and titles just to get this over with. I just want out of my toxic job. I just want anything but this hell I'm in. I can live a simple life where I just live simply on a small budget. I can't survive being berated by bosses every day.
