Am I overthinking this one?

For context I had applied for a semi entry role position in the company. They invited me for the interview first round. First round goes really well and they send me an email in 10 mins that I am invited to a second one in the company in person. The second interview was in a week from the first one. I show up there and also got to meet the colleagues. The experience was here also positive and in one hour they emailed me asking for my certificates and other documents. I obviously gave them the next day and told me I am still interested in the position after my second interview. The HR replied saying that HR is on vacation next week and CCed a colleague with this email and informed me that I will hear from this colleague (another HR) by the end of next week. Today the technical manager who was also my interviewer emailed me saying that due to combination of holidays and sick leaves I can only hear a feedback by next week. I am so tired of this entire process only to be left waiting like this every time. Is this a sign that they are preferring other candidates over me? Some say that I should take the info for what’s written or given to me but then it is really mentally tiring to be in this process. Should I be hopeful for this or is it a clear sign to move on and apply for other jobs? I just wanted to pour my thoughts out on this and talk to someone.
