Am I missing something in trying to get a remote job?

Hey, I am a 27yo accountant/teacher/entrepreneur and have long dreamed about remote opportunities for working. I have read many posts, seen the videos, applied for over 100 jobs, stalked the message boards, and I still haven't even gotten a response to a remote job posting. I know for someone in a single industry or without degrees/certifications it can be tough to find opportunities but I have my Enrolled Agent (IRS right to practice - tax person) and 6-12 teaching certification in math, computer programming, and business. I have a Bachelor's in Business Management, minor in education, and over 30 credits of continuing accounting education credits so I can sit for my CPA (taking the first of four tests in October - I know my CPA would make getting a remote job WAYYYY easier). I have looked for even decent part time work in anything touching education, accounting, or business and just gotten nowhere. Any suggestions for how to break in and fix what I am missing? TIA
