Am I about to lose this job offer?
Finally got offered a position at a major bank as an Institutional Relationship Consultant. I was absolutely thrilled with the salary, benefits, and hybrid work schedule. Just filled out the paperwork today agreeing to a consumer credit report. My credit score is not great, according to Credit Karma - 565. We have one credit card that’s in collections that we are working to get back on track, but it’s in my husband’s name. (I may be on as a co-signer?) the balance on it is like $3500. Besides that, we have one credit card payment that’s late, but not in collections. No bankruptcies or anything else. Am I screwed? I feel like I could vomit at the possibility of losing this job after searching for so long.
