A recruiter contact ME and couldn’t be bothered to reject me herself
Months of applications and unexpectedly a recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. Job looked good, aligned very well with my background/current role for way more money. She gave me her email to schedule an interview. We interviewed, I answered her surface level questions—everything went fine. Today I received an automated rejection email saying the same bullshit—“many qualified applicants —> we decided to go a different direction. We’ll keep your email on file!” I’m no stranger this, but SHE scouts ME, tells ME that I’m a fit for the role then asks me surface level questions, the answers to all of which can be found in my resume and then she can’t even send a personal email back? I’m humiliated enough at my current job, why humiliate me further by reaching out to me in the first place just to ask nothing questions and not interview again. Every day at my job is an exhausting nightmare. Job hunt sucks just as much.
