5 onsite technical rounds and still rejected

I was interviewing at prominent quant hedge fund for Quant Dev position. In total, I had 6 interviews of which 5 were technical in the office with seniors engineers and tech leads. I spend hours for preparation, hours for actual interviews and took annual leaves to attend the 2 superdays. What the hell? Why? Have u encountered the same😭
