3 common problems to fix if you haven’t already
Hey guys, The mods haven’t replied to me yet whether I can post this or not, so If it gets taken down, oh well. There’s 3 problems common that people need to solve: - CV - Research - Communication I’ll lay this out as simple as possible: 1) CV - Most people have already started solving this by going down the lazy route of sticking their CV and JD in an LLM. This rarely works since ChatGPT/Gemini/xyz isn’t made for this, it’s obvious when you do this. Instead, use something that’s tailor made for this like jobscan.co 2) Research - You’re not just trying to convince the recruiters to hire you, you need the people who will work with you to vouch for you. Use deep research modes from LLMs like ChatGPT or Gemini and research the hell out the role you’re applying to. Identity university alumni who went there, get connected with them and make sure you’re approaching the role from multiple angles, not the one angle that everyone has access to. 3) Equally as important, you need to be able to actually communicate professionally. More than 70% of applicants were international when I was hiring for my company. They were great, but if they weren’t able to string together coherent sentences swiftly then that’s an unfortunate blocker. You could use any LLM for this, but again, if possible use tailor made products like Rewordy.app None of the products mentioned are mine, I’m not advertising anything.
