Waiter (Service)

Welcome customers warmly and provide a friendly and professional service.

Assist customers with seating and provide menus promptly.

Explain menu items, ingredients, portion sizes and available promotions when required.

Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS/order system correctly.

Confirm special requests, food preferences and allergy-related information with the kitchen.

Serve food and beverages promptly and according to the restaurant’s service standards.

Ensure all food and beverages are presented properly before serving.

Check on customers during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address their needs.

Handle customer complaints politely and report serious issues to the Restaurant Manager.

Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of tables, chairs, menus and service areas.

Clear and clean tables promptly after customers leave.

Maintain proper personal hygiene, grooming and uniform standards at all times.

Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, cashier and other restaurant staff.

Ensure correct delivery of orders to the respective tables/customers.

Assist in preparing the restaurant before opening and cleaning/closing duties after service.

Monitor and replenish necessary service items such as tissues, cutlery, sauces and drinking water.

Handle crockery, glassware, cutlery and other restaurant equipment carefully.

Follow company policies, procedures and instructions from supervisors.

Support promotional activities and maintain a positive customer experience.

Assist other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Report damaged equipment, shortages, customer issues or operational problems to the supervisor.

Maintain professionalism, discipline, punctuality and teamwork throughout the working shift.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or management.
