Store In-Charge (Denim Factory)

Job Context: Tusuka is a 100% export oriented garment manufacturing company at RMG sector in Bangladesh and looking for interested candidate for the mentioned position who has the initiative, drive and self-motivation to take the challenges to deliver high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and control day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted material flow.
• Supervise the receipt, inspection, identification, storage, preservation, picking, and issuance of materials.
• Ensure all incoming materials are received against approved Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, Goods Received Notes (GRN), or other authorized documents.
• Monitor material movement between stores and production areas and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records through ERP/software and/or approved manual systems.
• Conduct and supervise daily, weekly, monthly, cycle, and annual stock counts as required.
• Investigate and report stock variances, shortages, excesses, damages, and unexplained discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Finance/Accounts and Internal Audit during stock verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder requirements, slow-moving and non-moving items to the concerned authority.
• Maintain complete traceability of material receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments.
• Ensure systematic storage and control of fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, labels, cartons, polybags, threads, stationery, chemicals, and other factory materials as applicable.
• Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams regarding material availability and requirements.
• Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles are followed wherever applicable.
• Coordinate closely with Production Planning and other relevant departments to ensure materials are available as per production requirements.
• Monitor upcoming production requirements and proactively identify potential material shortages.
• Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures, fire safety requirements, emergency access, PPE requirements, and safe material-handling practices.
• Ensure store areas remain clean, organized, secure, and free from unnecessary hazards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material loss, damage, wastage, handling costs, and storage inefficiencies.
