You will have a Master`s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, International Relations, Business or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 8–12 years` experience in development financing, donor relations, government liaison, policy analysis and partnerships in Bangladesh.
Demonstrated familiarity with MDB operations, bilateral donor systems and government planning processes, and experience engaging with them or managing donor-supported programs.
Experience in nutrition, health, food systems or social protection programming is an added advantage.
Technical expertise in strategic communication.
Fluency (spoken and written) in English is essential and fluency in Bangla is desired.
The Senior Officer – Strategic Engagement, Analysis & Communications serves as a strategic resource to the Country Director, positioning Nutrition International (NI) Bangladesh within the country's rapidly evolving development-financing landscape. The role generates actionable intelligence on government, donor, multilateral development bank (MDB) and private-sector priorities; converts that intelligence into partnership and resource-mobilization opportunities aligned with NI's mandate; and strengthens NI's external profile and policy influence through strategic communications. By connecting policy analysis, partnership development, market scanning and communications, the post holder expands NI's access to resources and sharpens its capability for effective policy advocacy.
