Sr. Officer / Assistant Manager - Food Safety Management System (FSMS)

Develop and maintain a robust FSMS aligned with ISO/FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards for rice, flour, daal, and feed production, setting clear food safety and quality objectives.

Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders for labor inspections and compliance matters.

Create and manage a risk assessment and hazard analysis framework; coordinate certifications and compliance activities with local authorities to maintain updated food safety licenses.

Oversee implementation of food safety and quality control protocols across sourcing, storage, processing, and packaging; conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to integrate FSMS into daily operations, providing training and fostering a strong food safety culture within the factory.

Perform regular internal audits, inspections, and tests to evaluate food safety practices, document improvements, and track corrective actions for compliance with FSMS standards.

Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions, monitoring effectiveness and reporting on resolutions.

Recommend and implement improvements to food safety protocols based on audit findings; update SOPs, policies, and training materials to address regulatory changes, risks, or gaps.

Conduct regular FSMS reviews, reinforce food safety practices through training, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance with updated food safety laws.

Support IMS-ISO Audit (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001); Social compliance audits and supply chain security audit.

Work closely with Corporate, Operation and Project Teams to address safety and compliance issues and implement sustainable practices within IMS-ISO and ESG Sustainability Frameworks.
