Sr. Executive (Commercial-Import)

Import & L/C Operations:

• Draft and verify PI, Cash L/C applications, and import documentation.
• Verify HS Codes, item specifications, duty rates, and secure Marine Insurance cover notes.
• Track shipments from dispatch to port clearance and final site delivery, avoiding demurrage.

Customs & Regulatory Compliance:

• Process required Import Permits (IP) and clearances (BSTI, BTRC, Quarantine).
• Review Bill of Entry (B/E), track duty assessments, and secure Delivery Orders (DO).
• Assist in renewing commercial licenses (IRC, VAT, TIN) and ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank and Import Policy rules.

Coordination & Records:

• Liaise with banks for L/C processing, bill acceptance, trade financing, and payments.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, C&F agents, freight forwarders, and internal hotel teams.
• Maintain up-to-date import files, registers, and landed-cost record.
• Perform duties as assigned by management from time to time.
