Your Profile

• At least 7 years of hands-on SEO experience, including 2+ years in an SEO leadership, team-lead, manager, or department-level role.
• Proven experience managing SEO professionals at different seniority levels and getting work completed through clear direction, accountability, coaching, and professional communication.
• A strong track record with large or technically complex websites, OR clear evidence that you have grown smaller websites into significantly stronger organic performers.
• You should be able to demonstrate measurable SEO results such as organic traffic growth, ranking improvements, successful site migrations, technical recoveries, conversion improvements, or growth after major SEO fixes.
• Deep expertise in traditional SEO fundamentals. Strong knowledge of crawling, indexing, technical SEO, content/on-page SEO, site architecture, internal linking, keyword strategy, backlinks, and search intent is essential.
• Advanced ability to troubleshoot difficult SEO issues instead of depending only on audit-tool recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Google Search systems, core updates, spam policies, search-quality changes, and how to investigate performance changes after an update.
• Practical understanding of AI SEO, Google AI Overviews, answer-engine optimization, entity signals, structured data, citation-focused content, and the changing search journey.
• Good knowledge of CRO and the ability to connect SEO traffic with leads, sales, sign-ups, or other meaningful conversions.
• Advanced working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs and/or Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar crawlers, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to separate correlation from likely causes when investigating ranking or traffic changes.

• Maintain strong technical health across websites and proactively identify crawl, indexation, canonical, performance, structured-data, architecture, and migration risks.
• Ensure the team follows strong SEO fundamentals and does not chase shortcuts, low-quality link schemes, or untested trends that create unnecessary risk.
• Respond intelligently to Google updates and major SERP changes by investigating data, testing hypotheses, and adapting strategy without panic-driven decisions.
• Create a culture of continuous learning where Senior, Executive, and Junior SEO team members improve their technical, strategic, analytical, and AI-search skills.
• Maintain clear reporting to management with insights, priorities, risks, wins, next actions, and realistic expectations.
