Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III)

micro1 is engaging Senior NDT Inspectors (Level II/III) to contribute expert insights to a client's critical engineering project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This engagement is ideal for professionals passionate about elevating standards in non-destructive testing and advancing the field through remote project-based contributions.

• Active ASNT or ISO 9712 NDT Level II/III certification in relevant methods (RT, UT/PAUT, MT, PT).
• Minimum of 8 years directly interpreting radiographs, ultrasonic/PAUT scans, MT/PT indications, and related NDT data in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
• Thorough working knowledge of US and international codes and standards (ASME Section V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; AWS D1.1).
• Expertise in making nuanced accept/reject determinations according to code-based acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in authoring detailed technical documentation and delivering feedback to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct objective, quality-focused work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience evaluating thermography or RVI data is a plus.
