Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Agriculture relevant discipline.
Working knowledge of Agri Trade commodities, inspection and testing workflows, commercial proposals and customer relationship management is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting; ability to use approved CRM, ERP or workflow systems as required.
Fluent written and spoken English and Bangla; ability to correspond professionally with local and overseas clients.
Willingness to travel within Bangladesh and visit customer, port, warehouse, laboratory or operational locations as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Drive sustainable and profitable growth of NR–Agri Trade services by executing the approved sales strategy, developing and retaining customers, coordinating proposals and service handovers, guiding assigned team members, and ensuring that all activities comply with applicable procedures, technical standards, HSE requirements and the SGS Code of Integrity.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales, Business Development and Customer Excellence
Execute sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, customer development and sustainable growth targets.
Identify and develop Agri Trade opportunities through customer visits, presentations, service promotion and market intelligence.
Prepare compliant quotations, proposals, tenders and service agreements, while maintaining a healthy pipeline, accurate forecasts and timely conversion.
Grow the customer base and existing accounts through acquisition, retention, reactivation, cross-selling and upselling.
Build strong relationships with local and international clients, act as a primary contact, and follow up feedback, complaints, concerns and potential claims.
Team Management and Operational Coordination
Coordinate and guide assigned sales and support personnel, allocate priorities and ensure timely completion of business and service activities.
Coach team members on sales, customer management, reporting, quality, compliance and safe working requirements while supporting capability development.
Promote teamwork, accountability, communication and continuous improvement, and support resource planning during peak workloads and absences.
Review customer requirements and coordinate with operational teams for job planning, resource deployment, service execution and timely reporting.
Monitor job progress, invoicing and receivable follow-up, and promptly escalate operational, commercial, quality or compliance risks.
