Senior Business Development Executive

Polygon Technology is looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Business Development Executive with 3 to 5 years of experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in client acquisition, business development, and revenue growth, along with an existing professional network or client base that can be leveraged to generate new business opportunities.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, developing strong business relationships, driving sales opportunities, and managing the end-to-end business development cycle. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills, with the confidence to engage clients through both virtual outreach and physical meetings.

• Identify, approach, and convert high-potential leads into active clients through virtual outreach, networking, and physical client visits.
• Leverage existing professional networks and client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and discussions to promote Polygon Technology’s services and solutions.
• Manage the complete business development cycle, including lead generation, requirement understanding, proposal submission, negotiation, deal closure, onboarding, and after-sales support.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure client requirements are properly understood and delivered.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, digital products, and emerging technology trends.
• Research market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities to identify new avenues for growth.
• Prepare business development plans, sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and other relevant management reports.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality client-facing documentation, including proposals, presentations, MoUs, quotations, and business communication materials.
• Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful deal closure.
• Achieve assigned business development, revenue, and client acquisition targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university in Business, Marketing, Management, or a relevant discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition within an IT or technology company.
• Proven track record of closing deals and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Existing client base, professional network, or strong industry relationships is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, SaaS, digital transformation, and technology trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills in English and Bengali.
• Hands-on experience in preparing business proposals, presentations, MoUs, quotations, and other client-facing documentation.
• Must be confident in conducting physical client meetings and maintaining strong on-ground client relationships.
• Strong networking, persuasion, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, follow-ups, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
